Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is hiring for a role focused on evaluating donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and administering approved immunizations per state regulations.

The position supports all plasma center operations, ensures SOP and cGMP adherence, and may provide limited emergency care within licensure. The role includes training, mentoring, and ensuring documentation accuracy, with opportunities for QA backup duties and professional development within a fast-paced, donor-centered

Qualifications

• Minimum healthcare professional qualification (physician, RN, or LPN).
• Ability to perform donor eligibility evaluations and consent discussions.
• Experience with regulatory guidelines and SOP compliance.
• Capable of providing limited emergency care as allowed by licensure.
• Familiarity with donor management systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and consent discussions per SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Review and document donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as trained.
• Consult with Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, maintain confidentiality, and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as logs and eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA backup as needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
