Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center professional responsible for evaluating donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis procedures and overseeing immunizations in compliance with state regulations and SOPs.

The role includes supervising emergency care within licensure and SOPs, plus ensuring training and adherence to cGMP and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include donor information verification in NexLynk, program classification, adverse reaction monitoring, and

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state healthcare license (RN/LPN/Physician)
• EMT certification may be required where allowed by state regulations
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center settings preferred
• Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
• CPR certification current
• State authorization to perform moderate complexity testing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments and informed consent in line with SOPs, FDA, CLIA and cGMP.
• Review and document donor information, immunization records and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as training and licensure allow.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Serve as a QA Backup and mentor/train new Medical Professionals.
• Support workforce development as a Designated Trainer.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to maintain donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
