Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, oversee immunization administration, and provide limited emergency care as permitted by licensure.

The role requires familiarity with SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines, with responsibilities spanning donor records, program classifications, and QA backup duties. The candidate will train as a Donor Center Technician I, mentor new staff, and support ongoing center

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program.
• Current state license/certification (Physician, RN, LPN, EMT or equivalent).
• One year hospital or field care or plasma center experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history and physical assessments in line with SOPs, FDA, CLIA and cGMP.
• Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care within training/licensure.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, maintain confidentiality, and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer for workforce development.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team to ensure an efficient, donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
