Job summary

OneLegacy seeks a Family Care Specialist to act as a liaison between hospital staff, the Authorizing Party, and the donor family. This role requires presenting donation opportunities with sensitivity and dual advocacy for both donor families and hospital teams.

The position involves entering data into Digital Donor, coordinating with care teams, and supporting families through the donation process, while ensuring compliance with UAGA guidelines and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or one year of applicable OPO experience.
• Documented education in grief counseling required.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent OneLegacy to the donor’s Authorizing Party and family.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to present donation opportunities.
• Obtain authorization for donation per guidelines and verify documentation.
• Enter data into Digital Donor accurately.
• Support donor family through the donation process.
