Job summary

Donor Network of Arizona is seeking a Donor Legacy Charge to lead shift operations, provide real-time direction, and mentor Donor Legacy Advocates in complex, compassionate family donation conversations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with hospital partners and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality case management, adherence to policies, and ongoing professional development within a dynamic organ and tissue donation setting in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in Donor Legacy Advocate, Family Services Coordinator, Donation and Family Advocate or similar OPO role.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC/CEPTC) and CTBS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Donor Legacy shift activities and provide real-time operational direction.
• Coach and support DLAs, balancing workloads and addressing high-acuity situations.
• Assist in family donation conversations and ensure ethical, policy-aligned discussions.
• Collaborate with Organ Advisor on Call, ROC, ORO, and HE&S teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure quality, performance, and professional development across Donor Legacy operations.
• Attend required meetings and maintain knowledge of SOPs and CEU requirements.
