Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Donor Greeter to welcome donors, assist customers, and help with daily store operations to maximize revenue in support of our mission.

The role involves sorting donations, pricing, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. You will work under Store Manager guidance, train team members, and adapt to a fast-paced setting including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers and provide assistance with basic questions.
• Sort donations according to guidelines and meet production standards.
• Maintain cheerful, helpful disposition when serving customers/donors.
• Perform janitorial tasks and keep processing area clean and safe.
• Assist in training team members and volunteers as needed.
• Ensure attendance and punctuality; work in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with location security.
