Job summary

The Blood Connection is seeking a Donor Services Technician to warmly welcome donors, conduct histories and mini-physicals, and support donor centers and mobile operations. You will reflect professionalism, provide education, and ensure a smooth donor experience with attention to safety and regulatory standards.

This role requires excellent customer service, dependability, and flexibility to work varied hours including some weekends; occasional schedule changes may occur with short notice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
• Effective communication with patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and build working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and guests with a welcoming, professional manner.
• Register donor history and perform donor mini-physical assessment.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of donor areas and front areas.
• Liaise with donors, convey the organization’s mission and values.
• Provide education materials and perform reception and telephone duties.
• Participate in blood drives and other events; adapt to scheduling changes.
