South Bend Medical Foundation (SBMF) is seeking a welcoming and compassionate full-time Donor Care Specialist I to support donors at our fixed donor centers in South Bend. The role operates from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong typing and data-entry skills; accuracy is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and donor-service skills for engaging volunteers and donors.
• CPR certification required; ability to respond to emergencies promptly.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule, register, screen, and collect blood from donors following FDA and AABB guidelines.
• Enter donor information and document vital signs accurately.
• Complete screening and collection forms with required signatures and maintain confidentiality.
• Recruit and schedule donors; may support mobile blood drives as needed.
• Maintain donor records, supplies, and a clean, organized work area.
• Provide courteous, respectful service and professional appearance.
