Job summary

SunCoast Blood Centers seeks a Donor Intake & Collection Support to assist donor registration, screening, and intake, and to support phlebotomy during and after donation.

Responsibilities include bedside rescheduling, outbound donor calls to schedule next donations, and answering questions on scheduling, eligibility, and frequency. You will maintain a clean, safe work area and assist with inventory and mobile drives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, phlebotomy, or related field preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions, SOPs, and safety protocols accurately.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to learn phlebotomy and donor services procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist donor registration, screening, and intake procedures.
• Support phlebotomy and donor monitoring during and after donation.
• Reschedule donors bedside and make outbound scheduling calls.
• Answer questions on scheduling, eligibility, and donation frequency.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with inventory.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements (FDA, AABB, HIPAA).
• Support operations at donor centers and mobile drives.
