Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Donor Greeter to warmly welcome donors and customers, assist with basic questions, and help maintain a clean donation area. Under the Store Manager, you will support revenue generation to fund Goodwill’s mission.

You will also participate in training of team members and volunteers while meeting production standards and complying with Goodwill policies. This role requires a HS diploma or equivalent and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers and providing assistance with basic questions.
• Meet production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking, and pulling.
• Sort donations according to company guidelines.
• Perform necessary janitorial work as assigned.
• Assist in the training of team members.
• Must have punctual and dependable attendance.
• Conduct self in safe manner; keep processing area neat, clean and maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Assist with location security.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
