Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Donor Greeter to provide excellent customer service to donors and customers at the store. You will assist with donations, pricing, stocking, and basic questions in a fast-paced setting.

The role supports revenue generation to fund employment services and digital skills programs, with potential for training new team members and ensuring safety standards across the store floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Loads and sorts materials in Truck/Trailer/Store/Plant according to Goodwill policy and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue completed donation receipts to all donors.
• Ability to maintain a cheerful and pleasant disposition when serving customers/donors.
• Perform necessary janitorial work as assigned.
• Ability to multi-task, make quick decisions and work in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
• Assist in the training of team members.
• Must have punctual and dependable attendance.
• Conduct self in safe manner; keep processing area neat and maintain good housekeeping standards to have aisle ways and fire exits clear and report all work injuries immediately.
