Job summary

Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Donor Greeter to welcome donors and customers, assist with basic questions, and support the donation processing flow in a fast-paced Goodwill store.

Under Store Manager supervision, you will sort and price donated goods, help train volunteers, and maintain a clean, safe selling floor. Physical tasks include lifting up to 40 pounds and working flexible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass skills and knowledge assessment testing.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers and assisting with basic questions.
• Meet production standards for stemming, hanging, pricing, sorting, stocking, and pulling.
• Sort donations according to company guidelines.
• Perform basic calculations to track donations and pricing within Goodwill guidelines.
• Ensure proper handling and processing of incoming donations in accordance with policy.
