Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a donation goods processor to help sort and prepare donated items for retail stores across our network in the Atlanta area. You will grade, sort, and process donations efficiently while upholding our quality standards and customer-first approach.

Ideal candidates have basic math and reading skills, good English communication, and a willingness to learn through training programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in production is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification and operate a forklift if required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia Retail stores.
• Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a professional, patient, and 'people first' attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at donation time.
• Sort donations into designated categories and relay questions to management.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend trainings and meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
