Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a dedicated team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for our retail stores. You will process, sort, and prepare donations in a fast-paced environment while following standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities include professional guest interaction, donation receipts, and maintaining a clean donation area. Forklift operations may be required; strong math, reading, and English skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication required.
• Forklift operation certification or ability to obtain.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine and grade donated goods for resale in stores.
• Process donations quickly to meet production goals.
• Sort items into designated categories.
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve questions per SOP.
• Maintain neat, clean donor door area and adhere to safety practices.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
