Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a donations processor to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in retail locations. You will handle donations, sort items into categories, and work to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment while following standard operating procedures.

The role emphasizes a professional, customer-focused attitude, accurate donation receipts, and teamwork, with required basic math and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and “people first” attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following agency and departmental procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Effectively communicate with management when necessary.
• Perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized donor door area/ADC location.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
