Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a donations processor to inspect and grade donated goods for our retail stores. You will process items quickly while following SOPs, ensuring safe handling and accurate categorization.

Join a mission-driven team that helps local job seekers through donations, training, and community support. Prior experience in production is a plus; strong math, reading, and English communication are essential, and ability to lift up to 30 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years (1+) of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and “people first” attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Address guest questions and resolve problems per procedures.
• Properly sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate with management as necessary.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Evaluate and navigate decisions effectively.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized donor door area/ADC.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
