Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a donation processor to examine and sort donated goods for resale across our retail stores. You will handle donations, provide receipts, and help maintain a clean, organized donor area while following safety procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong basic math and reading skills, clear English communication, and reliability in a fast-paced setting. Previous production experience is preferred; must be at least 18 to operate forklift when certified.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Good oral and written communication in English; interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for resale.
• Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at donation time.
• Sort donations into designated categories and maintain organized donor areas.
• Follow safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Attend required trainings and meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
