Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a dedicated team member to examine and grade donated goods for resale in our retail stores. You will process items quickly, follow SOPs, and maintain a clean, organized work area in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes guest service, teamwork and safety, with benefits including weekly pay, PTO, insurance options, and staff discounts. High school diploma or GED preferred; forklift certification required for operatives 18+.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for resale in retail stores.
• Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals.
• Display a professional, patient, and people-first attitude with guests.
• Sort donations into designated categories and assist with loading/unloading.
• Perform tasks according to training materials and SOPs.
• Maintain a neat, clean donor door area and follow safety practices.
