Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a dedicated team member to examine and grade donated goods for resale across our Retail stores. You will process items efficiently while following standard operating procedures in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and safety, with opportunities for growth through free job skills training and employee benefits such as weekly paychecks, PTO, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Effectively promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area at all times.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting hazards.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
