Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is looking for team members to examine and grade donated goods for sale in our retail stores. The role supports production goals in a fast-paced environment while following standard operating procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years production experience, basic math and reading skills, and strong English communication. Forklift certification is required for eligible duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Display a professional, patient, and people-first attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating.
• Sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate with management when necessary.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Promote teamwork and cooperate with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean donor door area/ADC location.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
