Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. seeks a Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Associate to support donated goods operations.

You will deliver an excellent donor experience, safely receive and move donated merchandise, and assist with backroom workflows in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include donor engagement, loading/unloading, operating forklifts when trained, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, donation intake, production, warehouse, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Bilingual language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive donor experience and assist donors at the donation site.
• Load, unload, and stage donated goods and move items through backroom operations.
• Operate material handling equipment as trained and authorized; maintain organized backroom areas.
• Follow safety guidelines and operational procedures to ensure a safe, productive workplace.
• Maintain flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
