The Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Associate supports Goodwill’s donated goods operations by delivering an exceptional donor experience while safely receiving, handling, and moving donated merchandise through backroom operations, including the Donation Express Center (DEC). This role balances donor service, safety, productivity, and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience in retail, donation intake, warehouse, or related roles preferred.
• Ability to lift and move donated goods and follow safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming donor experience and greet donors professionally.
• Receive, load, unload, and stage donated goods safely.
• Operate material handling equipment and maintain backroom organization.
• Support production, store replenishment, and daily workflow.
• Follow safety guidelines and upkeep a clean, hazard-free area.
