Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Donor Acquisition Specialist to deliver outstanding donor service, manage donations at the Attended Donation Center, and execute the GRATIS steps for a smooth intake process.

The role requires effective communication, ability to sort donations, maintain accurate records, and collaboration with the Transportation Department and leadership to support efficient, cost-conscious operations and the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.
• Poses excellent customer service skills.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors to accept donations with a cheerful disposition.
• Perform donation processing and sort donations into categories.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue receipts.
• Provide excellent customer service and invite donors to return.
• Coordinate with Transportation Department and leadership as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading donations and keeping areas clean.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and GWH policies.
• Report incidents and injuries promptly.
