Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Donor Relations Coordinator to implement administrative and donor-related activities for mid-level donor development in the Southern California Division. You will identify, cultivate, solicit, steward and upgrade donors to higher giving levels, working with the Director of Development and Donor Services Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.
• 3–5 years in nonprofit fundraising with a proven track record.
• Strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse donors and leaders.
• Willingness to travel regularly and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement donor communication to cultivate mid-level donors.
• Thank and acknowledge gifts and maintain donor records.
• Develop stewardship plans and recognition for major gift programs.
• Coordinate year-end solicitations with mail campaigns.
• Support events and collaboration with Development leadership.
