Job summary

Oregon Donor Alliance is seeking a Membership Engagement Director to mobilize resources for a racial justice movement. The role partners with the Executive Director to build a donor learning community and invest in community-rooted power across Oregon.

The ideal candidate will bridge strategy and relationship-building, cultivating donors as partners in long-term movement work, and guiding fundraising, learning, and coalition efforts for sustained impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in political, nonprofit, campaign, philanthropic, or movement settings — especially roles bridging strategy, relationships, and fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated fundraising strategy targeting at least $200,000 in annual donor contributions.
• Maintain and improve fundraising systems, including CRM practices, segmentation, and donor tracking.
• Lead donor organizing and cultivation, including one-on-one conversations, events, and learning sessions.
• Build and lead communications tools and content, including website and newsletters.
• Identify opportunities to collaborate with partner organizations to educate and inspire donors.
• Support organizational leadership and board development around fundraising and donor engagement.
