Job summary

Grassroots International in Boston, MA seeks a Project Manager for Donor Engagement to expand engagement with global philanthropy and social movements. The 30-hour/week role focuses on cultivating younger donors and building donor networks, with opportunities for experiential learning and leadership development.

You will work with the Executive Director and Development team to mobilize resources and create opportunities for donors to be active partners in solidarity. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in social justice activism in domestic and/or international settings strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team in a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Executive Director and Development team to create and implement a donor organizing plan focusing on younger donors and next-generation leadership.
• Establish, support and work with Donor Circles, coordinating with staff for special fundraising events or delegations.
• Cultivate donors through donor networks.
• Develop educational resources and programs based on the work of social movements.
• Prospect and cultivate donors at the $5,000 – $1 million level as part of the development team.
