Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Akron, OH, seeks a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administer approved immunizations, and provide limited emergency care as licensed.

You will gain working knowledge of all center operations and ensure adherence to SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines. The role involves reviewing donor information in NexLynk, classifying donors into programs, documenting communications, and training as a Donor Center Technician I

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent.
• Review, document, and verify donor information and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Consult with Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as logs and eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure donor-focused environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
