Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a clinician to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis, administer approved immunizations, and provide limited emergency care within licensure. The role requires knowledge of SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines across plasma center operations.

Qualifications

• Physician, LPN, or RN: Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program.
• EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced/Paramedic: Certification or license as an emergency medical technician.
• One year of experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center settings preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• State-issued authorization or license to perform moderate complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility via medical history, physicals, and consent per SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care per training/licensure.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, ensure confidentiality, and refer donors to health departments when needed.
• Maintain documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure an efficient, donor-focused environment.

Education

Physician / LPN / RN license or graduate from an accredited healthcare program

EMT certification or license (Basic/Intermediate/Paramedic)

State-issued authorization to perform moderate complexity testing
