Job summary

Thayer Academy is seeking a Donor Systems Manager to oversee donor information systems for the Advancement and Engagement office, based in BRAINTREE, MA. The role covers gift processing, data integrity, and analytics, coordinating with the Business Office, Registrar, and IT to ensure accurate donor data flow.

The successful candidate will manage Raiser's Edge, perform month-end reconciliations, generate acknowledgments, and support targeted mailing lists and event data for development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in data management or related activity with proven accuracy and efficiency preferred.
• Experience in relationship databases preferred; Raiser's Edge fundraising database experience is most preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency with an emphasis in Word, Excel, Google and competency in mail merges.
• Demonstrated ability to use good judgment to handle confidential information sensitively.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Gift Processing: Manage the processing of gifts and pledges into the donor database, including payroll withdrawal, in-kind donations, event registrations, tributes, and online giving; ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Systems Management: Maintain Raiser's Edge database, perform quality checks, data imports/exports, and coordinate with gift officers for data integrity.
• Reporting Functions: Create and generate scheduled and on-demand reports, including daily gift reports and year-end reports for the Annual Report.
• Other Duties: Create nametags for events and assist with Development Special Events as needed.
