Job summary

Covenant House Michigan is seeking an analytical professional to serve as the operational backbone of the Philanthropy Department, ensuring donor data integrity, supporting fundraising strategy, and building systems to drive mission impact.

You will manage the donor database, oversee gift processing, and generate data-driven reports to deepen donor engagement with CHMI. This role requires collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in database management, fundraising/development, nonprofit, or related field.
• Experience with Raiser Edge NXT or other Blackbaud CRM strongly preferred.
• Professional understanding of development best practices and data management.

Responsibilities

• Manage CHMI’s donor database to ensure data integrity and efficient importing/exporting.
• Oversee gift recording, receipting, and acknowledgement processes and optimize online giving.
• Support annual giving and communications activities with data sets, segmentation, analytics, and reports.
• Build and run regular KPI reports for the Philanthropy Department and maintain data accuracy across systems.
• Assist in prospect management processes and portfolio tracking.
• Collaborate with financial services on audits and reconciliations.
• Maintain SOPs, data hygiene, analytics, reporting, and forecasting.
• Update departmental process documentation to support fundraising success.
