Job summary

PIH Health Foundation in Whittier, CA seeks a Data Entry Clerk to support data entry, gift processing, and basic office tasks on a 13-week, on-site engagement. The role requires strong computer skills, excel reporting, and confidentiality.

The position entails generating gift acknowledgements, running donor reports, and training staff on Raiser's Edge. Work week is 40 hours, Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm with vaccination proof required for new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry and donor databases.
• Ability to run complex queries and create reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA awareness.
• Strong Excel skills and data accuracy.
• Familiarity with donation processing and tax reporting.

Responsibilities

• Enter all gifts and generate gift acknowledgements letters.
• Generate daily screening reports.
• Perform standard and complex queries, reports, and exports for development staff.
• Generate mailing lists for annual fund, publications, events.
• Maintain database procedures and conduct data cleanup.
• Ensure compliance with donation processing and tax reporting.
• Prepare donor prospect research and assessment reports.
• Assist Stewardship and Development initiatives and events.
• Train development staff on Raiser's Edge software.
• Safeguard confidentiality of PHI under HIPAA and policy.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Support patient care-related processes when applicable.
