Job summary

Community Action House in Holland, MI is seeking a Database Specialist to lead CRM administration and end-to-end donor data processing, supporting cash, checks, card payments, ACH and in-kind gifts. You will partner with the Annual Fund Manager and Finance to ensure accurate reporting and audit readiness.

You will develop SOPs, drive cross-department CRM adoption, and train staff to maintain high data privacy and integrity while enabling strategic fundraising decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in managing non-profit CRMs with progressive ownership of the system.
• Strong understanding of revenue reconciliation, grant tracking and financial reporting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data privacy standards.
• Ability to create clear SOPs and drive CRM adoption across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage CRM data integrity, hygiene, security, and continuous clean-up projects.
• Build, document, and maintain SOPs and data-entry standards for consistency.
• Drive cross-departmental adoption and CRM workflows across development and finance.
• Create segments, lists and profiles for donor communications and solicitations.
• Train staff on CRM functionality and data input protocols.
• Lead fast donation entry across revenue streams and handle payment issues.
• Generate and distribute weekly donation reports and grant tracking.
• Reconcile pledges and ensure audit-ready data flow to finance.
