Job summary

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is seeking a Benefactor Program Liaison to support donors and their families as part of the Hoag Hospital Foundation Benefactor Program. The role requires on-call availability to assist during appointments or surgeries and coordination of visits with Hoag and external physicians.

The position emphasizes concierge-type support, liaison with hospital staff, and timely patient pre-registration, with duties outlined by the Benefactor Program.

Qualifications

• Preferred: BSN or MSN
• Current licensure or interim permit as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
• Current California driver's license

Responsibilities

• Meet Benefactor and/or their immediate family members and spend time sitting with them, talking to, and assisting them with concierge-type needs.
• Attend scheduled appointments and surgeries with Benefactors and act as liaison for the Benefactor and/or family during the appointment or surgery at Hoag.
• Coordinate scheduled appointments within Hoag and with outside physician offices and perform patient pre-registration.
• Notify Department/Unit directors of scheduled Benefactor appointments or surgeries and obtain procedural orders prior to patient arrival for scheduled tests or procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
