Job summary

CSL is seeking a Donor Center Screener to greet donors and verify eligibility for plasma pheresis. You will guide donors through registration and screening per SOPs, performing health checks and finger sticks for hematocrit and protein.

Responsibilities include documenting donor data, answering inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality. Some roles may require bilingual skills and cross-training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and guide them through registration.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs.
• Perform health screening such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature and finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate new donors on the process, appointment system, policies and health information as needed.
• Register and transfer donors as required by training and center needs.
• Answer telephone inquiries or transfer to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor flow and alert supervisor to any issues during pheresis.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system and maintain confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and may require bilingual skills as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
