Job summary

Octapharma Plasma is seeking a Center Operations Lead in California to support daily donor center operations and ensure training compliance. The role involves planning, implementing, and executing regulatory training programs while guiding leaders and staff toward safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will oversee facilities, inventory, KPIs, and payroll scheduling, driving cost optimization and performance. A strong background in a highly regulated environment is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or up to 3 years related experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of operations and/or process management/supervisory experience preferred.
• 3 years of people management, including recruiting and training, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Host and support internal and external audits to ensure timely responses and CAPAs.
• Maintain certifications, licenses, training documents, and audit records for regulatory compliance.
• Mentor staff and promote safety, health, environmental, and quality policies; report unsafe conditions.
• Manage donor center facilities, assets, and equipment for cleanliness and readiness.
• Oversee inventory management, procurement, and purchase orders in line with company practices.
• Safeguard product integrity and proper handling of unsuitable products; mitigate equipment failures.
• Analyze and manage operational KPIs to drive production, cost optimization, and quality initiatives.
• Lead employee performance management including evaluations and development plans.
• Foster a positive workplace culture and HR policy adherence.
• Manage payroll records, scheduling, and staff allocation for efficiency.
• Cultivate donor relationships to drive retention and growth; collaborate on marketing initiatives.
• Facilitate routine staff and leadership meetings.
• Inform supervisor of irregularities; coordinate CAPAs with corporate departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
