Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking an ADC Donor Greeter to assist customers, accept donations, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Primary duties include sorting, cleaning, and packaging merchandise for shipment or store resale, as well as stocking items when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand documents such as receipts and time cards.
• Ability to write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly to customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in bringing donations inside.
• Record donations using daily tracking methods.
• Sort donations into proper equipment for processing and transportation.
• Label all equipment.
• Assist in loading/unloading merchandise and equipment.
• Ensure safety procedures during packing and movement of equipment.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful attitude toward customers.
• Greet customers within 10 seconds of arrival.
• Address customer concerns in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Maintain store interior and exterior in a neat, clean, organized manner.
• Act as a positive team member and share ideas with coworkers.
• Sort, test, and clean items for quality and processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
