Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is looking for a Donor Greeter to welcome donors, assist with donations, and keep the doorway neat and safe. You will help sort donations, label gear, and support loading/unloading cargo while maintaining a positive, service-oriented attitude.

You must greet customers within 10 seconds, follow retail policies, and be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous retail experience is a plus in a busy donation center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in bringing donations inside.
• Sort donations into proper equipment for processing and transportation.
• Properly label all equipment.
• Assist in loading and unloading merchandise and equipment onto/off trucks as needed.
• Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner within 10 seconds of arrival.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful attitude toward the customer and follow store policies.
• Keep interior and exterior of store neat, clean, and organized; perform cleaning tasks as needed.
