Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Donor Greeter to welcome donors, assist with donations, and maintain a clean, organized donation area. You will sort items by category, label equipment, and help load/unload while following safety procedures.

The role requires a friendly customer-service mindset, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and basic reading/writing abilities. High school diploma or GED preferred; retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in bringing donations inside.
• Sort donations into proper categories for processing.
• Label all equipment appropriately.
• Load/unload merchandise and equipment from trucks as needed; follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean store environment and greet customers warmly within 10 seconds.
• Support store team with ideas and communication with management.
