The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking an Apheresis Technician to screen and collect blood products from donors. You will manage donor health history, perform venipuncture, and operate automated collection systems to maximize yield while ensuring donor safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include quality control, paperwork completion, and adherence to FDA/AABB standards in a fast-paced donor center environment, with weekend hours and schedule flexibility as needed.

Formación

• Apheresis or plasma collection experience preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in a closely related clinical setting.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Screens donors through medical history and testing results.
• Operates and primes automated collection equipment.
• Maintains donor records and runs sheets per SOP.
• Provides post-collection care and donor comfort.
• Ensures proper packing and transport of collected units.
