The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking an Apheresis Technician to screen and collect whole blood from donors— including autologous or directed donations—as per SOPs and FDA standards. You will operate automated collection systems, monitor donor well‑being, and complete required paperwork.

Excellent customer service and a professional appearance are essential. You will schedule donors, perform health histories and venipuncture, ensure proper collection procedures, provide post‑phlebotomy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy or related experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow SOP in FDA-regulated environment.

Responsabilités

• Screens and collects whole blood from donors per SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Schedules donors and collects various donor types with automated systems.
• Observes donors for problems and provides post‑phlebotomy care; completes required paperwork.
• Maintains professional appearance and customer service during donor interactions.
