Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a store associate to process donations, rotate stock, and assist customers on the sales floor. You will greet donors, issue receipts, and ensure merchandise is properly displayed and labeled on textile racks and shelves.

The role emphasizes courteous customer service, adherence to procedures, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. No certifications required.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
• Beginner knowledge of the Internet and ability to look up information.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist donors/customers with a polite, professional attitude.
• Receive donations and issue receipts for donated articles.
• Rotate stock and bring stock to sales floor per procedures.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type and present merchandise on racks.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floor and production area; ensure safety.
• Follow CPSC procedures and respond to emergencies as needed.
