Job summary

Heart of Texas Goodwill seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee the processing of donated goods, lead associates, and ensure efficient sorting, pricing, and staging for the sales floor. You will train staff, monitor performance, and assist in scheduling while upholding safety standards.

The role involves coordinating with the Front-End Lead to rotate stock, maintaining back-room organization, and managing production metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Experience in production, warehouse, or retail operations, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
• Ability to oversee daily production activities, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members to meet productivity and operational goals.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, equipment use, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensures incoming donations are accurately sorted, valued, and staged for the sales floor.
• Trains and may directly supervise retail associates and program participants.
• Performs sorting and pricing duties across all categories.
• Completes necessary departmental and store paperwork.
• Maintains product rotation with Front-End Lead to ensure older product is moved to sales floor.
• Ensures back-room and donation area cleaning/organization tasks are completed.
