Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking team members to process donations and support store operations at our Dawsonville location. You will examine and sort donated goods, assist guests, and maintain a clean donor area while meeting production goals in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year of production experience, and the ability to operate a forklift with proper certification. Benefits include PTO, employee discount and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English; strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift (certification required).

Responsibilities

• Always display a professional, patient, and customer-first attitude.
• Provide a donation receipt to guests at the time of donating.
• Answer guest questions and resolve issues per procedures.
• Sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate with management as needed.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions.
• Promote teamwork and cooperate with peers.
• Maintain a neat, clean donor door area/ADC location.
• Adhere to safety and security practices; report hazards and injuries.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
