Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a Production Associate to efficiently sort and price donations, supporting store profitability and community impact. You will handle inbound donations, prepare items for sale or e-commerce, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to learn power equipment safety, and provide friendly customer service while supporting a mission-driven team in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn safe operation of power equipment (must be 18 years old or over).
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Uses quality standards to sort donations into outbound containers for e-commerce, salvage, or trash
• Quickly determines if item is unit priced or tagged with good/better/best price using standard guideline
• Easily identify brands and high interest items to maximize value in store or through e-commerce
• Meets 1 touch production goals- HL Donations from door to floor in 15 minutes or 1 SL rack per hour
• Communicates with material handler to bring product, empty garbage and swap out salvage containers
• Promptly greets customers when on the sales floor and donors when in the donation center
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following established 5S and safety guidelines
• Works the process staying in station producing primary donations, as assigned
• Works the process providing back-up to take in donations or put out product, as assigned
• Consistently interacting with co-workers, shoppers, and donors in a professional and pleasant manner
