Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Central Florida in Port Orange, FL is seeking an Entry-Level Part-Time Retail Associate. Under the General Manager, you will sort donations, stock shelves, and assist donors and customers on the sales floor.

You will greet customers with a courteous attitude, issue receipts, maintain cleanliness, rotate stock, and follow merchandising policies. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, and prior retail experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to greet and assist donors/customers and issue receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize donations.
• Knowledge of textile items and garment classification.
• Follow safety and store procedures.
• Operate under merchandising policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations politely and issue receipts.
• Rotate stock and bring stock to the sales floor.
• Display merchandise on textile racks and shelves.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type.
• Assist in textile color rotation.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Direct customers and provide information.
• Watch for shoplifting and notify management.
• Keep floor and production area clean and safe.
• Maintain groomed appearance and dress code.
