Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking an Entry level Retail Associate for a full-time role in Winter Garden, FL. You will greet customers, process donations, and help price and stock goods while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The position requires basic computer skills and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance. No certifications required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and barcode scanner knowledge.
• Knowledge of textile articles as related to garment classification.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
• Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts; assist customers with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and determine the quality of donations.
• Sort and price hard goods (wares).
• Keep production area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
• Maintain well groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge and vest.
