Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a Donation Xpress Attendant in Fruitland Park, FL to deliver friendly customer service while receiving donated items and issuing receipts. You will help sort donations and assist with loading items for transport.

The role emphasizes safety, courtesy toward donors, lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, and standing for long periods as part of daily duties within our donation center.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the donation center.
• Greeting each donor with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Respectfully receiving donations while issuing donation receipts, regardless of donation size or the number of articles.
• Assisting donors with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sorting donations in accordance with all GICF policies and procedures.
• Adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards as directed.
• Assisting in loading GICF trucks with donated items as needed.
