Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a Donation Xpress Attendant to provide excellent customer service by receiving donated items, issuing receipts, and assisting donors with loading donations. You will also sort items according to policies and help load trucks as needed.

The role involves opening/closing the donation center, greeting donors, and following safety and cleanliness standards in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the donation center.
• Greeting each donor with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Respectfully receiving donations while issuing donation receipts, regardless of donation size or the number of articles.
• Assisting donors with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sorting donations in accordance with all GICF policies and procedures.
• Adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards as directed.
• Assisting in loading GICF trucks with donated items as needed.
