Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a Donation Xpress Attendant to provide excellent customer service while receiving, sorting, and loading donated items. You will issue receipts and assist donors with lifting items, ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

The role involves outdoor/indoor work with varying weather, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 40 pounds (and up to 100 pounds with assistance). We encourages applicants 18+ with retail experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the donation center.
• Greeting each donor with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Issuing donation receipts for donors, regardless of donation size.
• Assisting donors with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
• Sorting donations according to Goodwill policies and procedures.
• Assisting in loading donated items into GICF trucks as needed.
