MERS Missouri Goodwill is hiring a Retail Processor in Olathe to handle donated goods, price items, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor. You will interact with customers, donors, and team members while upholding company standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy in pricing, quick turnover of stock, and strong teamwork. Full-time, with benefits including monthly bonus and medical/dental coverage after eligibility, in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated/purchased goods into categories (sales floor, online, etc.).
• Inspect items for quality and determine suitability for sales, recycling, or online.
• Identify and price items using pricing guidelines.
• Maintain store area cleanliness and stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
• Establish professional relationships with team members and leadership.
• Follow safety procedures to keep the workplace hazard-free.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Monthly bonus up to $250.
